CREDAI Warangal Membership Guidelines

1. Title and Definition

 

The Confederation of Real Estate Developers’ Associations of India (CREDAI) is the apex body representing private real estate developers across India. With over 10,000 developers spread across 204 states, CREDAI advocates for the interests of builders. CREDAI Warangal is the chapter located in Warangal, registered under the Telangana Literary, Scientific, and Charitable Societies Registration Act 1955.


2. Function

CREDAI’s core function is to promote the interests of builders. The association conducts regular promotional activities such as property shows to enhance the branding of its members. Additionally, it organizes seminars and coaching programs aimed at improving the skills and knowledge of its members.


3. Membership

Membership is open to all individuals engaged in the business of building and development. The criteria for admission are set by the Membership Committee, and applicants must submit the required documentation to be considered.


4. Admission of Members

The Membership Committee reviews applications, and those meeting the criteria are forwarded to the Executive Committee for approval. New members are granted provisional membership for one year. After this probationary period, they may be granted permanent membership, subject to review. Only permanent members have voting rights.


5. Criteria for Selection

  • Credibility and Reputation of the applicant
  • Completion of 5000 Sq. Meters for applicants within the state and 30,000 Sq. Meters for those from outside the state
  • Proven Professional & Business Ethics
  • Financial status, including references from bankers and accountants

6. Required Documents

Applicants must submit:

  • Firm and director profile, including details of other businesses
  • Brochure/leaflets on completed and ongoing projects
  • Copy of the Occupation Certificate for completed projects
  • List of 25 customers
  • Report on ongoing projects
  • Previous year’s balance sheet and financial statement
  • Reference letters from bankers and chartered accountants
  • Report on the applicant’s organizational setup
  • Details of membership in other associations or CREDAI chapters

7. Statutory Payments

  • Entrance Fee: ₹1,00,000
  • Annual Membership Fee: ₹15,000 (Including Taxes) These fees are non-refundable and are due at the time of admission. The membership fee for the subsequent year is due by June 30th every year.

Additionally, members must contribute a Building Fund of ₹1 per sq. ft on the marketable space of the project.


8. Cessation of Membership

A member may resign by providing 30 days’ written notice to the Honorary Secretary. The resignation is accepted only after settling all dues. Membership is automatically terminated if dues remain unpaid for more than six months. Upon resignation or termination, members must cease using the CREDAI logo and the term “Member CREDAI” in all promotional materials.
